Acts 20:24 in 2024
H
"my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.“ â€â€from Acts‬ â€20‬:â€24‬ â€NIV‬‬
Go, help people be 'learners' about Jesus
We continue to pray and discern what God is telling us - where we should go and who it is that He is "giving us."

Four times Jesus spoke about "those that you gave me," and so it is important for us to focus on those God gives us - but not only them, but also, as the Passion Translation puts it, "for all those who will one day believe in me through their message."

Please join us every Wednesday and Sunday at 4:30 PM Eastern as we Pray for all leaders and followers of Jesus - and not only them!
We are praying for a partner to enable travels
“They went on through cities and villages, proclaiming and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with him .....and many others, who provided for them out of their means." From Luke 8:1, 3 ESV
We are praying for a family to partner with us, and come with us when you can, as we 'go out' and travel to and from Washington, D.C. when Congress is in session.
Our greatest ability is our availability
The best thing we can do for a leader, who is trying hard to follow Jesus' example, is to be available, to be there, a constant at their side, on call, a trusted confidant and good listener. To be available requires time and investment. We seek to be on the Hill and in State Houses when they are in session - Mark with Governor Henry McMaster in Columbia.
Help us practice hospitality and break bread
Relationships are best nurtured around the dinner table as we break bread. Many of Jesus' teaching moments were at meal times. Throughout the Book of Acts we read about the followers intentionally breaking bread and spending time together.

Help us in our Acts 28 ministry of hospitality.
