STATUS OF OUR FOUNDATION
LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS FOUNDATION INC. was formed in the State of Maryland as a not-for-profit foundation, established to mentor and equip leaders in arenas of business, government, culture & faith; to develop relationships in Jesus name; and to promote reconciliation, peace and bridging divides.
LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Effective February 26, 2019, the IRS determined LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS is recognized as being exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 50l (c)(3).

Donors can deduct contributions made under IRC Section 170.
​
LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.

The IRS has determined that LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS is a public charity under the IRC Section 509 (a)(2).

Leaders and Followers Foundation Inc.'s Board is made up of a diverse group of men and women blending together professional skills, life experiences and both global and national perspective.
Many of the Board have lived and worked overseas and been involved in the corporate governance and leadership of significant not-for-profit organizations.
